In this session, the speaker – in conversation with Dr. Pervez Hoodbhoy – will explore both the power of Artificial Intelligence and its crippling limitations. His talk will be without mathematics. It will explain how AI works and significant advances in the last decade. The vast commercial possibilities of various new technologies will be explored. Finally, he will present some of the deepest limitations of AI and engage in group introspection on how to deal with these deficiencies.
